Stop Breathe Think

Stop Breathe Think is a mental health charity offering online counselling to those aged 8-21, who cannot afford or access support quickly.

Queensberry Project

Queensberry Project offers a range of interventions aimed at tackling the root causes of risk-taking activities through direct work that aims to change and challenges young people’s mind-sets and behaviours. The Hook is a model of early intervention aimed at young people who, through their behaviours and choices, may be at risk of being involved in criminalised behaviour and exclusion from school. The model also allows for the delivery of intervention to young people who are already engaged with gangs, knife crime and other criminal activity.

Hope4More

Hope4More offer focused support for families and children who struggle to access education due to emotional and mental health difficulties. They offer counselling alongside art projects, arts award qualifications, engagement in sustainability projects, and parenting support groups. They are also able to work alongside schools and other agencies and are experienced working with young people who may experience neurodiversity.

Motherwell

Motherwell a service provided for women by women, promoting positive health and wellbeing, by offering a range of educational services, holistic therapies, counselling and mental health support.  Motherwell services support girls aged 13 to 18, and women, who live across Winsford, Crewe and surrounding areas in Cheshire.

Visyon

Visyon is a charity that supports the emotional health of children, young people and their families in the Cheshire and Staffordshire moorlands areas. Visyon also offer Open Access Consultations for any young person (11+) or parent. You can call for a space to talk, no issue is too small

South Cheshire CLASP offers free professional, confidential counselling for lone parent families, separated families and step families. Including free counselling for children. South Cheshire area, covering Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, and the rural areas in between.

Central Cheshire Talking Therapies

Central Cheshire Talking Therapies service provides a range of services for individuals aged 16 and over, who have common mental health problems, who are registered with GP surgeries within the Central Cheshire area. Talking Therapies service is for adults aged 16 + and provide psychological therapies for such things as Depression and low mood, Panic Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Specific phobia, Trauma (including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Insomnia.

Inspire

Inspire children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing service for those residing in Cheshire East and are aged 10-18.

New Life Christian Counselling and Listening Service

New Life Christian Counselling and Listening Service at New Life Church provides counselling services to young people (often having run away from home, or young mothers with babies) and helping in practical ways when residents are ready to move into their own homes. They also offer a confidential service helping people through many life issues. This service is for Macclesfield residents.

Talking Therapies Eastern Cheshire

Talking Therapies Eastern Cheshire provide free NHS psychological therapies to help with common mental health difficulties. Therapy can be provided one-to-one, in a group, over the phone, via video call or online. Talking Therapies Eastern Cheshire is for anyone aged 16+ who is registered with a GP in Eastern Cheshire (Alderley Edge, Bollington, Chelford, Congleton, Disley, Handforth, Holmes Chapel, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Poynton and Wilmslow). The team are based all over East Cheshire in various community venues.
