Urgent alert:

If a young person is at immediate risk and needs urgent help with their mental health, please call the 24/7 urgent mental health line by calling NHS 111 and choosing the mental health option.

Our 'helping myself' section contains a range of self-help resources and guidance to help you look after your own mental health and wellbeing. This may be useful if you are waiting to access support from a service like our Children and Young People's Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) - formerly known as CAMHS - or if you just want some advice around how to look after your mental health.

You will find support that is relevant for the East Cheshire area as well as national services and information. Where support is only for a specific location (i.e. Macclesfield only or Crewe only) it is noted in the description.

The information in this section is suitable for children and young people, parents, carers, and professionals. Please select the topic of concern to find self-help resources.

Information is also available on the Cheshire East Live Well website where you can find over 3,000 health, well-being and support services in Cheshire East.

Visit the Cheshire East Live Well website.
